About
My path into interpreting began with a desire to communicate with Deaf individuals who shared my same interests and values. I was quickly humbled by the richness of sign languages and Deaf culture. What started as a language learning endeavor, grew into a long-term commitment to equitable communication access. Today I work as a trilingual (ENG/SPA/ASL) interpreter and remain committed to learning, collaborating with Deaf professionals, and supporting meaningful and autonomous participation.
I work as a freelance interpreter across diverse settings, with extensive experience providing remote interpreting for Deaf professionals, particularly in technical fields. I specialize in delivering dynamic equivalence in fast-paced, complex conversations. I’m motivated by creating environments where Deaf and hearing participants interact organically, ensuring equitable access so Deaf individuals can fully contribute, advocate for themselves, and participate in important decisions.
No ego. Adaptable, while also knowing my limitations. A thought that guides my work: Great interpreters gather fragments of many worlds—not to speak their own truth, but to carry the voices of others across the divide.
