I've been interpreting for over 35 years and I'm grateful to the Deaf and DeafBlind communities for sharing their language and culture with me. I've always been a "jack of all trades," working in many settings, but over the past decade I've focused on medical interpreting with Deaf and DeafBlind patients and Deaf medical professionals alike.

I specialize in medical, conference, business, technology, and non-court legal interpreting. My medical background helps me bridge the gap between clinical language and what patients actually understand. I also have wide-ranging experience teaming with Deaf interpreters as intermediaries, supporting clear communication for Deaf and DeafBlind people and professionals.

I learned to interpret through deep community experience before formal programs existed. I bring a warm, person-centered approach, adapting to each person's needs and creating space for Deaf clients to engage and feel empowered throughout the process.
