How signpost works for organizations
Start with the Deaf client's preferences.
When you create a request, tag the Deaf person you are requesting for. You'll get access to their preferred interpreter list and communication preferences, making the booking process easy.
No preferred list? Browse the directory.
If the Deaf client hasn't set up a preferred list yet, or you are requesting for a general event, browse the directory to find interpreters with the skill set you need. Send your request to up to 10 interpreters at a time.
Get responses fast.
Interpreters respond with their availability and rates in just a couple clicks, so you won't be waiting long.
Confirm when you're ready.
Select your interpreter and confirm. The $15 platform fee is not charged until you know for sure you have an interpreter for your request.
Simple, transparent billing.
Once the job is complete, your interpreter invoices you directly with the agreed-upon rates and terms. signpost does not charge anything on top of the interpreter's rates. The $15 booking fee is the only signpost charge.
